Rebecca Wilson-Nagy, LMT

Rebecca is a licensed massage therapist with 25 years of experience. Throughout her career, she has consistently pursued training opportunities both nationally and internationally, learning from top innovators in their fields. This dedication to ongoing education has allowed her to continuously expand and enhance her scope of practice. In addition to her massage practice, Rebecca co-founded and co-facilitated Yoni  ̴ A Women’s Circle, leads workshops, teaches yoga, and has facilitated online corporate meditations. Along with her training to work with other people, she has worked extensively within her own healing process and is dedicated to her continuous healing journey.

Rebecca has a deep love and connection to Mama Earth, feeling rooted with her bare feet on the ground and her hands connecting to the trees.  She loves to walk with nature and be a witness to all life, taking moments to pause to feel the sun on her face, a breeze on her skin, hear the sounds of the forest, and to breathe in the abundance of fragrance. Also, she loves to dance, laugh, create, travel, and connect soulfully with family and friends.

Rebecca is passionate about and committed to providing a nurturing, supportive and safe environment for her clients.

The Stephenson Method of Creative Healing: Joseph Stephenson believed the human body is capable of self repair and is designed to heal. This modality is very intentional, working with specific plexuses of the body where intricate networks of nerve and vessels (both lymph and blood) intersect.  Congestion held in the tissues of the body that could be causing pain and dysfunction is broken up and eliminated through these plexuses.  This is a gentle and non-invasive massage modality that facilitates the body’s natural process of healing and function.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage:  The lymphatic system is an essential part of our wellbeing.  It interacts closely with the immune, circulatory, endocrine, and digestive systems.  Some of its functions include immune defense, removal of cellular waste, and balancing the body’s fluid levels. MLD is a manual massage technique that uses light touch to stimulate the lymphatic system. Benefits include easing pain and inflammation, reducing swelling, enhancing post-surgical recovery, and improving immune function.

Cupping therapy:  Cupping is an ancient form of alternative therapy that works by creating suction on an area of the skin. While hands-on massage offers compression, cupping creates a decompression aiding in reduction of muscular tension and inflammation as well as increase blood and lymphatic flow locally and systematically.

Holistic Pelvic Care™:  A gentle yet powerful combination of physical and energetic techniques designed to assess the pelvic musculature and restore harmony within the pelvis.  Similarly to the rest of the body, the muscles and fascia of the pelvis can become dysfunctional, hyper or hypotonic, stressed, and hold tension. HPC can address and alleviate symptoms by restoring the health and vitality of the musculature and organs of the pelvis as well as allowing a woman to reconnect to this part of her body, connecting to her feminine essence and power

Sound Healing: Sound and vibration healing have been used for centuries across cultures to restore harmony, alleviate stress, promote emotional well-being, reduce inflammation, relieve pain, strengthen the immune system, and encourage cellular repair. Tuning forks and Tibetan bowls may be used.

Integrative Energetic Medicine and Coaching:  All life is energy. We have energy fields around our bodies and energy sources within our bodies. The state of these energies is an important factor that affects our overall health and wellbeing. In IEM&C we work with the energy fields, chakras, and awareness dialogue to promote physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual healing. Sessions can provide an increased sense of wellbeing, a decrease in anxiety, ease and release of physical and emotional tensions, and bring forth clarity. During a session, the client is fully clothed and may be seated and/or lying down on a massage table. Much of the work is done off the body, though light touch may be included. Sessions may also be received remotely over the phone.

Therapeutic Massage:  Integrating therapeutic massage modalities to ignite the body’s  innate healing potential, restore harmony , return to wellness, and align the body, mind, heart and spirit in a more holistic and subtle  approach to traditional massage therapy. Modalities utilized may include:
