Julie Carestio, PT, DPT

Dr. Carestio offers a functional medicine approach to health and healing. She partners with her patients and clients to find the root cause of symptoms, supporting health through food choices, movement, restorative sleep and nutritional & herbal supplementation.

She is a licensed physical therapist, a practicing clinical herbalist and a certified yoga instructor with over 2 decades of experience in prenatal and postpartum education and support. She is excited to bring all of this together at Sage Physical Therapy and Women’s Health to help more people live active, fulfilling lives. See below for details about her education, training and community work.

When Dr. Julie is not busy working, she enjoys hiking, cycling, kayaking, rock climbing, swimming in the ocean, foraging, visiting her 3 grown daughters and working in her garden.
